OUR MISSION |
The Jake Darreff Legacy Run was established as a 5K run and a 1 mile fun walk. The race benefits area children that have been afflicted with a form of Childhood Cancer. Our hope is to bring awareness of this disease and the burden that it places on the families of these children and our community.
After the race, the proceeds are distributed to those children and families that best fit our program goals for financial and emotional support. |

OUR INSPIRATION |
Jake Darreff was only three years old when he lost his battle with a rare form of children's leukemia. At only 2 years of age Jake showed us his determination, and a hope for new day where he could play with his friends and family, a day that never came. Jake left behind a family that misses him everyday. It is in his memory that we try to give - LOVE HOPE & CARING - to the families in our area. |
